Abstract Submission

Call for Abstracts
Deadline: February 15, 2026

Abstract submissions are now being accepted for the upcoming NASOM meeting. NASOM is a wonderful opportunity to present your research and clinical work with others who share your interests in medical disorders in pregnancy.

Abstract body should be 250 words or less and may include new research or educational projects as well as case reports. Research abstracts should be structured to include: Background and Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions.

Submissions must include the presenting author and collaborators’ titles and affiliations as you would like them to appear in the meeting’s abstract material. Each submission should identify a “main” author and should state whether the main author is a trainee or junior faculty. Abstracts must be in English.

Presentations will be reviewed by a scientific committee and all authors will be notified of the status of their abstract prior to the meeting. Presentations may be accepted for poster or oral presentation. If you prefer only one format for presentation (either oral or poster) please state this at time of submission.

New this year:  We are excited to introduce a Case Report Competition, where the top seven case reports will be selected for oral presentation with a prize for the best case. Case reports should be structured to include: Background, what/how it adds to existing literature, Case description and a discussion. Cases not accepted in the case competition will be considered for poster presentation.

Summary of awards (Four)

  • Two best oral original research presentation (one for the Peter Garner Young Investigator award to trainee/Junior faculty; and one to all oral original research presenters)
  • One for best oral case report presentation
  • One for best poster presentations by a junior faculty/trainee

Deadline for abstract submission is midnight of February 15, 2026.

Please submit your abstract as a Microsoft Word attachment to Caroline Roy at info@NASOM.org. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Caroline.

Please encourage your colleagues and trainees to attend the meeting and submit their work for presentation.
